This blogger is spot on with the money here.
Some of my followers know that last year I started, endured and completed a self-esteem course and it was the best thing I ever did!
Reminding myself and others how important it is to value yourself is never wasted time. I enjoyed this post and hope you do too …
Thank you JoyPassionDesire xx
It’s an ongoing task to stay on top of the demons of self doubt. Loved your post! It is extremely important to listen to your own voice and not follow the pressures and demands from others! I hope you have a wonderful day today. Reading your blog is always enlightening! ❤️😎❤️

I spent to much of my life so far trying to please everybody ,untill the misery became so big I had to face it.It is an impossible mission and it is a mortal one as your souls will implode sooner or later untill you don’t free yourself .

Thank You. A little prayer to Life, a kind that I am both humbly and kindly-simply inquesting. It does release the river of hope that I am listening to my hearts-musing. I used not to know or suppose how courageous and strong and much of a champion for the people that I truly am by nature, but as you say as in this post remind me, what I don’t do or believe I cannot do is against my soul’s truth, and so, causes me much pain -too much to bear anymore it is. I must come into alignment with the great man that I am, not be lazy, not doubt for one second my ability to make a change and a big one in many lives. It is meaningful that the humans whom I looked up to when growing up were; jesus, mother theresa, martin luther king, and sinead o’connor. What do these people have in common? Service to the poor or those in need of hope. Strong voices of truth and love.
Walking a path of power is risky. You will transform, bet on it. You may transform so much you won’t recognize who or what you are anymore, but rest assured, you will feel better, stronger, and more courageous than before. So walk towards -focus towards -talk towards -think towards the pathway of transformation you. Don’t deny the power -the love- of your true nature.
There’s no need to spruce it up. There’s also nothing gained by downplaying you or it. Nothing. You musn’t shame your courage, the small and simple soul that you are. Your vulnerability is your fire. Your weakness, our strength. And weakness is not giving up, it is knowing our place in the world -one of a changemaker -of a changemaker -of a changemaker.
So you see, you’re not veered that far off course. You are going to make choices from here on forwards that agree with courage -that agree with who you are as a soul. Your conditioning, and judgements … those are petty. Those are of your father. Alas, it behooves you not to judge him for it, but rather to hold unconditional compassion for him and all other men and women of prejudicial mind-quality.
The risk you take in not living your soul’s purpose and expression is a much more dangerous risk than not taking it in the first place. Go out there, and help someone, help humanity find it’s way to first place -as a whole species.
What is your passion, dear warrior of light? To whom and to where do you find calling? To what is your dream? For me, as in others, though no small truth is it that I too find calling in bringing hope to the children, and leading them and in doing so, myself, from darkness to light.
There too is a problem with affirming many things. You must do things. You must have the courage to do these things. You must -we must- i must- act. Less thought and more action. Less thought and more action. More action and less thought. Find the appropriate balance between thought and action for you. Remember, love first, do not your words carry virtue upon them when you love first?
And do not compare yourself to another -do not ever compare yourself to another -do not ever compare yourself to another -do not ever compare yourself to another -do not ever compare yourself to another -do not ever compare yourself to another -do not ever compare yourself to another -do not ever compare yourself to another -do not ever compare yourself to another -do not ever compare yourself to or against another -do not ever compare yourself against another -do not ever compare yourself against another -do not ever compare yourself against another -do not ever compare -do not ever think of comparing yourself to another -do not ever wish yourself comparative to another -excise every comparative neuro-linguistic pathway in your psyche and raze it to oblivion. You are not a comparative person. Here’s what the sages and wise people remind us about comparison;
Comparison is a disease, one of the greatest diseases. We are taught from the very beginning to compare. Your mother starts comparing you with other children. Your father compares. The teacher says, “Look at Johnny, how well he is doing, and you are not doing good at all!”
Osho says; “From the very beginning you are being told to compare yourself with others. This is the greatest disease; it is like a cancer that goes on destroying your very soul. Each individual is unique, and comparison is not possible. I am just myself and you are just yourself. There is nobody else in the world to be compared with. Do you compare a marigold with a roseflower? You don’t compare. Do you compare a mango with an apple? You don’t compare. You know they are different – comparison is not possible.
Man is not a species. Each man is unique. There has never been any individual like you before and there will never be again. You are utterly unique. This is your privilege, your prerogative, life’s blessing – that it has made you unique.”
Never under any circumstances belittle yourself or think of yourself other than good, great, worthy, beautiful, kind, generous and so on. You are you. Yes. You are you.
It means that relative to the past you are no one. Thoughts on the past and failures and judgments are not in alignment with the present. So go forth and do that thing you’ve been dreaming of and wanting to do!
Perhaps there is no past. Here’s what Osho says; “So change the focus of your being. Learn how to live each moment and learn how to die each moment. Both are together. If you know how to die each moment, you will be able to live each moment-fresh, young, virgin. Die to the past. Don’t allow it to interfere with your present. The moment you have passed it, let it be no longer there. It is no longer there; it only goes on in your memory, it is just a remembrance. Let this remembrance also be released. This psychological hang-up should not be allowed”
…and I thank him for the invitation. It is true that all prisons -thoughts-on-the-past … you must free yourself from past-neurosis. Fortunately, you already want to, because the burden of mistakes is forbearing here and not and not for bearing till death. The past is moot. It makes logical sense too. The zen saying, now, life is living you.
Go on cleansing your mind to the past. Keep facts, a few, and your mind will be very clean, clear.
Welcome my son, welcome to the machine.
And the future too, the novelty of it will be lost if you know what is going to occur. Better to be surprised.
It has been brought to my attention today that I have been doing the equivalent of going around saying; “Do you like me?” What is the insanity of that?
There is no past, this is true. Live like this.
Kate Bush is my favorite musical artist. I am me.
Free your mind continually of the past, well, of what was the present. Let it drain away into primordial soup -the sea of dark matter- where it can be repurposed. Again, as before, Dark Matter is your super-ally.
Just you be you. There is no right way to do this. The light calls to me. Fire, love, calls to us all. It calls us to nurture it -ourselves. Fact also is that your energy body-soul- is the real master in this experiment and mission called my life. As such, persistence is a virtue. Similarly, risk taking is a virtue also known as the spirit of adventure. Yes, take care of your responsabilities, and agreements. Your word must be your bond. Make no exceptions to this rule.
Take note of your accomplishments, however small, like this post. You could take notice of my accomplishment in writing this comment. Therefore, we take note together of accomplishment. Accomplishmenteering, that is what we are doing too, noticing accomplishments.
There is far to much, ‘not good enough’ going on out there. I know you want to return to the faster flow of source, waking up at 5:30 Am every day because you are inspired to do so. Sleeping less and so on. It is my greatest desire to return to the graces of Source so as to live in the flow. What must I do? Remain present. When life calls on you, heed the call. Do not turn over and say, I’m tired, please let me sleep. Do not ask someone else to do it. Do not pretend that you are not important. This is the waking call, and the invitation to the River.
Above all, always listen to your gut, heart, and overall energy body.
Peace, Longevity, LISTENING, … and may you choose thoughts that empower your Soul.
Sincerely, LM

Always do. Anyone not respecting it doesn’t respect you is a criminal. Leave them to hack crap on blokes like me and let the women who comply with their ways chime in. They don’t get much opportunity in those ‘successful’ lives to be self sufficient and emotionally independent… and every dog has his day. All their fighting is on drugs and morally malignant. Leave guys like that to run into men like me and my mates in the boys only places.
They never respected their mothers. QED

So true! We are taught to be polite, follow social conventions and to value certain things above others – the career, the marriage, the size of the house. It results in ignoring your gut instinct. Our bodies our amazing things, and they tell us so much if we listen. I had to learn to listen, similar to your self-esteem course. And it’s life-changing. Great post x
