Actually it’s ok, because Kiltie Jackson has written a sequel called An Artisan Lovestyle.. which is released next month π₯
and apparently some of the characters return in its pages.
This debut from Kiltie is an uplifting and fun read. Her story takes us on a magical trip to Saltzberg as the main character is a lifelong fan of the musical ‘Sound of Music’ (I think Kiltie might just be too π€) and then in the later stages of the book, we end up in Venice so a fabulous tour of some of Europe’s finest destinations will get your mouth watering for possibly holiday locations.
I adore character Sukie’s love for her two cats in the book and the many relationships within the plot are expertly crafted so you end up loving and caring for the characters. Kiltie writes strong women and this alone will gain her many followers.
I admire anyone for self-publishing their work and Kiltie works tirelessly on her social media presence to promote her books. I encourage you to catch up with her inspiring, straightforward attitude to life. @KiltieJackson is her twitter handle for fun daily chit chats πΈ
(PS No, you’re not having my copy of a RRL because mine is signed π±π₯πͺπΌππΌ)
On the bright side you can read it again and discover new things. I’ve done that on a couple of books but I always have to wait a while.

Some characters stay with us, always a pleasure when they do, and especially if we can follow their continuing journey π xx

Thank you Viola for your glowing words and fabulous review. You are very generous with your praise.
Although characters from ‘A Rock ‘n’ Roll Lovestyle’ appear in the follow-on book ‘An Artisan Lovestyle’, they are now the supporting cast and two new characters have centre stage – so no worries about the original story being dragged out to its bare bones. That story has been told and there are no plans at this time to bring them back to the fore.
Book 3 will follow this same set-up – new characters telling their stories with old characters popping up along the way. xxx

OMG!!!!! Thereβs a third on its way π you have made my day xxxx
Good news about the second. I shall enjoy spying the supporting cast amongst its pages but it sounds like it will be an enjoyable stand-alone if someone has not read your debut. π₯

I can relate to the feeling, however, sequels so often don’t really fit the bill. There are exceptions, I know

So true… with films too.

Know the feeling, it’s like if not leaving friends, then at least a good night in the pub. Then other sorts of books haunt a while, like they left a ghost.
